From series organizer Clifford Allen:
“For the second iteration of So What Do You Think? on Sunday April 24 we will be focusing on a few musicians local to the Kingston area. Trumpeter Arnold Hammerschlag I was aware of in NYC through his Skirl CD No Face No Name and he now calls Kingston home. He will be playing in a trio with guitarist Jim Yanda and bassist Rashaan Carter. Opening the night’s proceedings will be a solo performance by trombonist, electronic musician and composer Darius Christian, whose work I became aware of through that time-tested method of being neighbors. Small world!”
Awesome lineup means it should be a fun night!
